Blanchette is the original Absinthe produced by Distillerie Combier (Saumur, France) dating to circa 1900. Blanchette is a Swiss-style, clear Absinthe that yields a distinct aroma and flavor of Anise and Grande Wormwood, with a background of alpine herbs. Like our other Jade Absinthes, Blanchette is crafted entirely by hand in the antique copper absinthe stills in the Combier Distillery.

Me like this...
... though it almost (!) reminds of a quality Ouzo.
Very neatly balanced blanche and not too much of floral notes. For some this may be a drawback, but for me it\'s a big advantage.
So. If you like Ouzo you _really_ have to try Blanchette instead!!
To this date possibly the Absinth I liked the most. It\'s not as dry as others and may even be consumed pure. And no ugly aftertaste either.
Just pure Absinth goodness.
The transparent color is irritating though ;)
Very, very, very good! Drink it!
Is a Good Blanche!
