Passion for Exceptional Spirits Since 2000
Lion Spirits was born from a passion for authentic spirits and a special fascination with absinthe. Back in 2000, we began importing and distributing premium absinthe from France, Switzerland and Spain. At a time when absinthe was still a niche product in Germany, our mission was to introduce traditional products, historic recipes and genuine distilling craftsmanship to a wider audience.
Today, our portfolio extends far beyond absinthe. At Lion Spirits, you will find carefully selected spirits from around the world, including gin, rum, whisky, fruit brandies, herbal distillates, vermouth, bitters and unique liqueurs.
Our Roots Are in Absinthe
Although our range has expanded considerably over the years, absinthe remains at the heart of what we do. We have worked closely with many renowned distilleries and have become one of the long-standing specialists for this historic spirit.
We have never been interested in marketing myths about thujone levels or supposed effects. Instead, our focus has always been on history, craftsmanship and the authentic character of the Belle Époque.

We prefer working with independent distilleries, family-owned producers and artisans who share our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Many of our suppliers have been trusted partners for years or even decades.
