The white Copalli rum serves as a raw material here. This is brought together in a tank with cocoa beans from organic cultivation and is allowed to rest there. The cocoa comes from the neighboring farm Copal Tree.
Now the rum has been in the tank for several weeks and is gradually taking on the taste of the chocolate. After maceration in chocolate, the rum is distilled again to become even softer and rounder. Which works very well.
A high-quality product that can be wonderfully processed in a dessert or as a base in a cocktail.

Copalli Rum is a handcrafted single estate rum from the bottom of our hearts
of the rainforest in southern Belize.
The distillery is located in the middle of the protected and pristine rainforest and measures 22,000 hectares. The rainforest is carefully managed so as not to pollute the environment, but to protect and preserve it.
The rum is always made from just three ingredients and is then processed further. The ingredients are organic sugar cane juice (no molasses), pure water and natural yeast. Nothing else is added before burning. At the end, the Copalli Cacao is flavored with chocolate.
